  • A Sweet Melody

    Why do you talk?

You talk as if people listen,
    as if they understand you.
    Not your voice. Your Heart.
    The voice of your Heart.

It sings out the song of Pride.
    What tune is this?
Is it the tune that you want most people to fear?
The tune that gives you such “authority”.
    The “authority” you obviously withhold.

Why do you talk, and not listen?

Listen to those who don’t speak.
Listen to those who don’t speak.
    They act. They sing.
    With no tune of Pride,
but with the tune of Love.
Do you know of this tune?
    Just Listen…

This is the most Beautiful tune.
And the Sound…This Sound is the Loudest Sound.
Anyone can hear the fullness and the overwhelming distortion of this
    dynamic wave of Truth.
    Of Justice.

It overpowers the tune of Pride.
    The song of Sin.
    The hypnotic illusion of Lust.
The evil holes that are believed to be full.

With such singing, they can’t be filled.

    But!
But through the hum of faith.
Through the melody of compassion and the belief
to make a difference in the lives of those who have
been lied to, cheated, robbed, underestimated, forgotten,
abandoned, lost, left alone, suffocated, why not sing this song?

    The song of the Redeemed.
    The song of Help.
    The song of Justice.
    The song of Truth.
    The song of Love.
    The awakening of the Children.
The forgiveness of a loving Father.
    The washing of eyes.
    The washing of feet.
    The washing of Hearts.
    Singing Hearts.

The Sound of the Beautiful Letdown.
